Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

Coinbase Commerce (Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Dia, Ethereum, Litecoin)

If you decide to use either of these two methods, you’ll be taken to either the PayPal or Amazon Pay website, where you’ll be prompted to log in and process your payment. You’ll then be directed back to our merchant website once your transaction is complete.

Where is my refund?

We aim to process refunds within three days of an item being returned to us. Please note, however, that your bank may take several days to process the payment back into your account. With that said, please allow up to ten working days after posting the item back to us before getting in touch about your refund. We’ll contact you by email to let you know when your refund has been processed.

How do I pay for my artwork?

We have a secure website and payment method. All your data is protected. We only store your contact details as part of the order process.

Who pays for International taxes & duties?

It is the buyer's responsibility for any taxes & duties. You will have to contact your customs office for the relevant information on these additional costs. Custom orders may take longer depending on the customs office. This is out of our control.

Do I have to have an account to purchase?

No, you can purchase your art as a guest but we hope you register for an account to help support us. Also, you will be the first to receive updates on new art projects and offers we release.

Ordering and delivery

Can I order the metal art without creating an account?

Yes if course. You can order the metal art as a guest with no obligation to create an account. We do recommend that you create an account, however, if you’d like to check your order history and have your shopping basket items and payment details saved for next time. It’s quick and easy to create an account.

Where is my order confirmation?

This is automatically sent to your email address when you place an order. If you haven’t received your order confirmation within 24 hours, please get in touch at info@modernelementsart.com just in case there’s a problem with your order. Please check your mailbox’s spam or junk folder before contacting in case the order confirmation has been diverted there.

Why has my order been canceled?

We typically only cancel orders if there’s a problem with stock, or if you’ve asked us to cancel. Please accept our apologies if your order is canceled because of a problem at our end. We’ll always offer an alternative product and process your refund in full, as quickly as possible.

How do I cancel my order?

There is only a short amount of time between when you place your order and when we start processing it. If you contact us straight away after ordering, via info@modernelementsart.com, we may be able to cancel your order before it’s processed. If not, we’ll despatch your order and then you can return it to us if you wish upon receiving it.

Can I alter my order?

Luckily you have 24 hours to ask for alterations to your artwork, after that, we’re unable to modify your order.

Extra costs may apply depending on alterations!

When will my order arrive?

Orders that require shipping within the U.S. will be delivered within three to ten days, depending on your preferred shipping method. Shipping to countries outside of the U.S. may take up to 14 days. Please get in touch if your order hasn’t been delivered according to the expected timescales, and we will check your order status.

What countries do you ship to?

We ship to most regions worldwide. Please check this detailed breakdown (add link) before ordering to make sure we can deliver to your geographical location.

How much is shipping?

Shipping costs depend on the item you’ve ordered and the country where it’s being delivered. Please refer to this delivery cost table (add link) to check the postage fees for different destination countries. If your order value is more than $75, we provide free shipping within the U.S.

Can I track my order?

Yes. We’ll provide updates at every stage of your order, from the moment you place it, through to despatch and delivery. In your delivery confirmation emails, you’ll receive a tracking reference which you can use to check the progress of your order online.

Do you keep stock or is everything made to order?

Everything you see on this online gallery is made to order but now and then we may hold stocks of popular art pieces for faster despatch times.

Shipping

You will receive shipment notification and tracking information once the package is ready for shipment. Free shipping applies to orders shipping within the UK, some other regions are subject to additional shipping costs. We reserve the right to cancel any orders with insufficient paid postage.

What do I do if I don't receive an order confirmation?

If you do not receive order confirmation within 24 hours of purchasing your order first check with your bank to make sure payment was made. Then contact us immediately so we can check your details and arrange confirmation.

How do I check if an item is in stock?

All items on my website are made to order the stock inventory is always set to 1 quantity. If the quantity is set to 0 don't threaten as you should be able to purchase the item. Sometimes this website will have higher quantities of stock on some items.

If you purchased artwork from Christopher, you will be sent an email asking you to review your artwork around 14 days after the purchase.

Returns

Can I return or exchange an item?

You can absolutely return your item to us, within 14 days after receiving it, as long as it’s undamaged, unused and contained in its original packaging with all tags and labels attached. Unfortunately, we don’t offer exchanges. If you’re unsure about clothing sizes, we recommend ordering the two closest matches and returning the one that doesn’t fit.

How do I return an item?

Please contact our customer service team via info@modernelementsart.com. Providing the return is within the 14-day cancellation period and meets our return criteria, we will issue you with a return note by email. You need to print this off and attach it to the packaging of the product when returning it to us. You will need to arrange and pay for suitable packaging when returning an item.

What do I do if I lose my return note?

We send return notes by email, so if you can locate the email we sent you, simply print off a new one. If you can’t find this email, please get in touch and ask for it to be resent to you.

My order has arrived but it’s not as I expected. What can I do?

In the rare event that your order arrives damaged or faulty, please take photos of the product in question and email our customer service team via hhelp@yourstorename.com with the details. We’ll respond within 48 hours. If you just don’t like the product for any reason, we’ll gladly accept it back as a return, providing it’s in “as new” condition, in its original packaging with all labels attached.

How long does it take to return an item?

This depends on the carrier or shipping method that you choose when returning your item. Once we receive your return, we’ll notify you by email. We aim to process refunds within three days after receiving the item into our warehouse, but it can take several days for your bank or credit card provider to process the refund into your account, or onto your card.

What do I do if my artwork is damaged?

In the case of unlikely shipment damage please document any damage, take some photos & then contact us immediately.

It is highly unlikely for our items to arrive damaged as we use secure & protective packaging.

Can I return my order and get a refund?

We only accept returns if these items arrive damaged.

We can't accept returns for custom orders or if the customer chooses the wrong size, or colour or doesn't match their decor. We have all the information on our products is provided in the description. Please buy at your discretion.

You must contact us within 7 days of package delivery for any returns to be considered. Your item must be then sent back within 14 days for a refund. To receive a full refund we ask that items be packaged in the original packing or equivalent condition.

Return costs are the buyer's responsibility and the original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Refunds will be reimbursed once the item is received by us and checked over for damage. Please note you need to add the order number on the packaging so we can identify the returned order.

Who manufactures the art at Modern Elements?

Everything you see on the Modern Elements website is handcrafted by artist Christopher Henderson. Everything you see on this online gallery is made to order but now and then we may hold stocks of popular art pieces for faster despatch times.

Handcrafted Rendition

Your metal art piece will be a handcrafted rendition of the design shown in the pictures. So please note each piece may vary only slightly but this is what makes each piece original and unique to the buyer.

Also sometimes images may show colours in a different light, please be aware most of Christopher's art is metallic and reflective. So please read the description and information carefully on which colours he has used to make his art.

 

How to Handling & displaying your art?

How you handle & display your artwork is crucial and you need to take special care and attention during the installation. Whether it is a framed picture, wall sculpture, metal painting or multi-panel we have come up with the best hanging solutions for safely displaying your artwork.

Our artwork must be delivered to our clients in perfect condition and then installed correctly following our detailed instructions.

The proper display of our art is of utmost importance wherever possible and fully reading our installation instructions is necessary!

How do I install my art?

All artwork is easy to install and instructions will be supplied on how to hang your order.

Can your art be customised?

Yes, all wall art and clocks can be customised and changed to suit your requirements. Christopher is always open to new ideas and loves to design new art, especially for his customers. Please feel free to contact him through this website to discuss this further.

How do I clean my artwork?

Maintaining your artwork is easy. We recommend using a lint-free cloth or duster only.

We do recommend our customers handle using gloves or a hand towel. Once the art is up it mostly stays clean itself.

Dust with a dry lint-free cloth if necessary.

If you forget to use gloves try to remove any fingerprints or grease marks asap to avoid staining the aluminium.

ALWAYS USE GLOVES TO HANDLE THE ARTWORK!

It's the oils in your fingers that react with the oxide in the aluminium. This can be easily avoided using the methods we suggest.

DO NOT USE HOUSEHOLD PRODUCT ON THE ARTWORK, THIS WILL VOID ANY RETURNS!
